Year 1 & 2 Central Idea - Living and non-living things are connected

Transferring this concept to science with what plants need to thrive as living things.
They have plants in the sun and plants in the cupboard.

Year 3 & 4 Central Idea - Interactions with the natural world causes change.

Learning about good use of energy through advertising. To unpack the learning of
advertising and slogans, learners were creating Advertising slogans for Trinity.
Some of these included pictures of Maisy with the slogan – “Feels good”.

Year 8 - Science

Our Year 8 learners are diving into their new unit,
The Science of Disasters. This week, they conducted a quick
hands-on experiment to explore how vortexes form and behave,
helping them understand the powerful forces behind destructive
wind storms such as cyclones and tornadoes.

In the Art room, our Year 9/10 ceramics learners have been risk-takers and creators, successfully crafting their own ceramic Tic-Tac-Toe games. Their work reflects persistence, skill development, and creative problem-solving.

Overcoming Obstacles

Year 7 students have been reflective and principled as they
diligently work on their essays for the unit Overcoming Obstacles.
Their writing showcases personal insight, resilience,
and a growing ability to express ideas with clarity.

Year 8 - Language and Literature

Our Year 8 learners have been communicators and thinkers,
presenting the final debates of the term with confidence and
clarity. They demonstrated strong research skills, critical thinking,
and respectful engagement with diverse perspectives.

Yr. 7 Math

Year 7 - Math

Our Year 7 learners are exploring geometry through a creative town-mapping project.
Each map must include a variety of angles and shapes, allowing students to apply their
knowledge of geometric concepts in a fun and practical way. This hands-on task encourages
problem solving, precision, and creativity as they design their very own town layout.

9-10 Financial Math

Year 9/10 - Financial Mathematics Elective

Our Financial Mathematics learners have been inquirers and knowledgeable, actively engaging in a financial simulation game. Through realistic budgeting and expense management, they are building practical skills for real-world decision-making.

Outdoor education-learning mallee fowel

Year 9/10 - Outdoor Education Elective

Our Outdoor Education learners have been inquirers and knowledgeable, exploring the unique habitat and behaviours of the Mallee Fowl. Through hands-on learning and research, they are developing a deeper appreciation for local biodiversity and the importance of conservation.
