There are 14 committed and passionate teams working across learning communities in LEVNT and LESNW to bring to like strategic change that is aligned with Free to Flourish. Teams gathered in person for two days at ISV at the end of February for a deep dive into problem finding and categorising, solution ideation and intentional change focused leadership hosted by Louka Parry and Anne Knock from The Learning Future.
Across this term those teams have met for online session hosted by Louka Parry, where he has focused on change implementation. In addition Flourishing Futures leaders have met individually for coaching and mentoring sessions with Shane Paterson reflecting on leadership capacity through our Growing Deep lens as it relates to their particular project and leadership growth. Teams have also met for half or full day sessions with myself focusing on boosting project implementation through stages of feeling stuck or roadblocked. In these sessions we have focused on progress made and what next steps look like.
The projects that learning communities are focused on are exciting as the teams grapple with how to bring their strategic intent to life through, learner profiles, teaching and learning philosophies, Christian Studies in the Early Years, teaching and learning frameworks, student leadership models and human centred learning opportunities for students.
In term three the project boost sessions myself will continue with teams. We will engage in our last online session with Louka Parry and work towards a project sharing day on Monday September 7 where all teams will come together to share their story of progress across this year and the plans they have for 2027 and beyond.
We are grateful for the sponsorship of LLL towards supporting teams to participate in this Flourishing Futures project.
