Music and Drama Teacher

All Grade Levels (P-12)

Teaching Subject: Drama , Music

Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Full Time

Eastside Lutheran College is seeking to appoint a talented, innovative, and creative Music and Drama Teacher. The position will be mainly based within the Secondary School but will involve supporting the Primary School Music and Drama teachers.

The provision of Music and Drama teaching is integral to the College’s vision to provide enriched opportunities to students from a young age with specialist creative and preforming arts classes taught across all year levels.

This is a full-time role, with the successful applicant able to teach across the Creative and Performing Arts subject areas. They will be able to shape the direction of the College’s Music and Performing Arts program. This will include the development of choirs, bands and ensembles and the production of College plays, concerts, and musicals.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for the Arts education and a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and differentiation. They will have the ability to develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of Music and Drama in students of all abilities.
