Empathy to Impact

2026-06-25

We recently hosted Aaron Moniz CEO of Inspire Citizens to run another Empathy to Impact 2 day workshop for teachers in the LEVNT office.

We had 15 attendees from Wimmera Lutheran College, Lakeside College and Luther College who learnt about how the Empathy to Impact cycle can be used as a lens for teacher planning to encourage more community partnerships and collaboration to provide real world learning connections resulting in a learning experience where learners feel a strong sense of purpose and connection to the learning they are undertaking.

On day two we worked out that in the first iteration of the projects that will be implemented 650 learners in  Lutheran schools will have an improved learning experience!

Our ongoing partnership with Inspire Citizens continues to allow teachers in our schools to gain practical access to a range of tools, strategies and resources that take their new or existing units of learning or projects to new levels aligned with growing young people to develop compassion, relational skills, purpose and a strong sense of adventure. As adult learners in the room we certainly had to be adventurous as we grappled with new information and connection deep in the learning pit.

As with every professional learning opportunity we offer the Empathy to Impact workshop was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our collective vision for learning, to network and foster colleague relationships across learning communities and for me to be uplifted and reminded of the incredible expertise, commitment and passion that exists within our LEVNT educator community.

This was our last offering of Empathy to Impact for 2026. If you would like to get staff involved for 2027, please reach out to me so that we can meet your needs.
