Graeme Huf has tendered his resignation from LEVNT, effective December 2018. Graeme has made this decision based on several factors.
In the first instance on medical advice. As some may be aware, Graeme has been dealing with a medical condition for some time, which has impacted on his health and well-being. The travel aspect of the role has also meant that Graeme has spent a considerable amount of time away from family that Graeme would now like to address.
Secondly, due to reforms in the operations of the LLL and the LCA’s Loans Management Committee – and Graeme’s role in both organisations – this would have created significant conflict of interest if Graeme was to remain in the LEVNT role.
Graeme commenced as Director: Business Services in 2012 and during this time he has been instrumental in developing and implementing a range of processes and programs that have helped our schools across many business aspects, from strategic planning, financial processes, recruitment, and the development of business plans. He has developed many strategic partnerships with companies and government agencies that have assisted LEVNT over many years.
We are very grateful for Graeme’s service to our region, his wisdom, knowledge and skills, but particularly his servant heart. There will be opportunities over the next term to thank and acknowledge his service to our region.
A recruitment process will commence next term to appoint a new Director: Business Services.
