Accreditation

As part of the Lutheran Church of Australia we want to ensure that all our teachers and leaders have an understanding of what makes Lutheran schools special.

We use Accreditation to ensure that:

  • the teachings of the Lutheran Church of Australia are known and understood by those who work as educators in Lutheran schools
  • those who lead the school or teach Christian Studies have an adequate grounding in Lutheran theology

There are three different levels of accreditation defined and mapped to staff groups depending on their responsibilities within the Lutheran school.

  1. Accreditation as a teacher (At)
  2. Accreditation as a Christian Studies teacher (Ac)
  3. Accreditation as a leader (Al)

Depending on your role within a Lutheran school, some or all of these elements will be compulsory to complete.

Accreditation as a teacher

Accreditation as a Christian Studies teacher
