On most mornings of the week I listen to a Mackay aboriginal radio station because of the old country music, which they play between 9:00 and 11:00 am. This is then followed by another syndicated aboriginal program, which comes out of Cairns, called National Talk Black (this is a play on the words talk back). This session usually has interviews with different people. A couple of weeks ago they interviewed somebody on the YWAM mission ship, which travels to New Guinea.

Ralph Zapart, from Eastside Lutheran College was formally fare welled on the 15th of September with an outpouring of admiration and love from the students, teachers and families at a service followed by a BBQ lunch. Ralph, we wish you every blessing as you begin your transition to retirement.
